Asisipo started her professional occupation as a field researcher and made her way up the career ladder as Managing Director of Jupilog Consulting. This has given her the opportunity to develop an encyclopedic knowledge of project operations and in various areas of the business and its day to day operations. This knowledge has further given her the confidence of knowing herself and her abilities, self-determination and persistence, which are vital characteristics for her leadership role. Over the years she has been involved in a several economic development research studies as well as studies to support industrialisation in the Maritime and Chemical Industries. Asisipo holds a Masterâs Degree in Development Studies, a Post Grad Diploma in Maritime Studies, and she is currently pursuing a PhD in Development Studies. She also completed a course on the Bluegreen Economy and Sustainable Use of Marine Resources at Gothenburg University in Sweden in 2018/2019. In her efforts to broaden her knowledge base and experience, she currently provides assistant lecturer support at the Nelson Mandela University department of Development Studies in Marine and Coastal Development Modules and Practices. She will also be attending online lectures for a summer school programme at Gothenburg University.
Barrie holds Bachelorâs Degrees in Business and Law. His previous experience includes working for a provincial government employer in the fields of Economic Development and Environmental Protection. He has been involved in various projects at Jupilog as a Senior Associate, gaining extensive experience through research and analysis in the fields of Economic Development, Industrialisation in the Maritime and Chemical Industries, to name but a few.
Yvette is currently pursuing a Diploma in Management at Nelson Mandela University. She has extensive experience in office management and project coordination. Over the years she has gained a number of different skill sets ranging from disciplined time management to financial record keeping. Her background in direct marketing has also given her the ability of people management and communication, which equips her with the capability to effectively liaise with the companyâs clients to ensure customer equity.
Palesa holds a Masterâs Degree in Development Studies from Nelson Mandela University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Maritime Studies. She also holds a Bachelorâs Degree in Social Sciences from the University of Cape Town. Sankolobaâs experience includes research on small enterprises and studies to support industrialisation in the Maritime and Chemical Industries. She has undertaken several studies in the field of economic profiling, tourism strategy development and feasibility assessments.
Jupilog, in partnership with TETA, supports skills development to contribute towards the development of the countryâs youth and tomorrowâs leaders to further their education and contribute to the growth of South Africa. Jupilogâs learnership programme involves workplace experience for three learners in the 2018/19 financial year to gain the necessary workplace-based experience to complete and obtain their qualification.
The learners contribute to the operations of the company and play an important role in providing assistance to the core project team to deliver superior value to the organisationâs clients.
