ODWA MTATI

Managing Director/ Founder

Odwa is a creative strategic thinker and business analyst with a deep commitment to economic development in the Eastern Cape. He has excelled in his career path elevating from public relations and communications specialist to business manager, integrated marketing and communications expert, business consultant, researcher and analyst of socio-economic environments. Mtati holds both BA and BJuris Degrees, as well as a Master’s Degree in Development Studies. He is the former chief executive officer of the Port Elizabeth Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Barrie Harvey

BARRIE HARVEY

Senior Associate

Barrie holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Business and Law. His previous experience includes working for a provincial government employer in the fields of Economic Development and Environmental Protection. He has been involved in various projects at Jupilog as a Senior Associate, gaining extensive experience through research and analysis in the fields of Economic Development, Industrialisation in the Maritime and Chemical Industries, to name but a few.

YVETTE KAPP

Office Manager

Yvette is currently pursuing a Diploma in Management at Nelson Mandela University. She has extensive experience in office management and project coordination. Over the years she has gained a number of different skill sets ranging from disciplined time management to financial record keeping. Her background in direct marketing has also given her the ability of people management and communication, which equips her with the capability to effectively liaise with the company’s clients to ensure customer equity.

PALESA SANKOLOBA

Research Associate

Palesa holds a Master’s Degree in Development Studies from Nelson Mandela University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Maritime Studies. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences from the University of Cape Town. Sankoloba’s experience includes research on small enterprises and studies to support industrialisation in the Maritime and Chemical Industries. She has undertaken several studies in the field of economic profiling, tourism strategy development and feasibility assessments.

Oarona Moleko

OARONA MOLEKO

Research Associate

Oarona holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences from the University of Cape Town as well as an Honour’s Degree in Development Studies from Nelson Mandela University. Moleko has experience in stakeholder engagement, research pertaining to small enterprises and studies to support industrialisation in the Maritime and Chemical Industries.

ASISIPO MHLONYANE

Research Associate

Asisipho holds a Master’s Degree in Development Studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Maritime Studies at Nelson Mandela University. Mhlonyane’s experience includes field research and data management, as well as research on small enterprises and studies to support industrialisation in the Maritime and Chemical Industries.

LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME


Jupilog, in partnership with TETA, supports skills development to contribute towards the development of the country’s youth and tomorrow’s leaders to further their education and contribute to the growth of South Africa. Jupilog’s learnership programme involves workplace experience for three learners in the 2018/19 financial year to gain the necessary workplace-based experience to complete and obtain their qualification.

The learners contribute to the operations of the company and play an important role in providing assistance to the core project team to deliver superior value to the organisation’s clients.
